about

Songs improvised live in response to Reuters Television News by Jude Cowan Montague.

"I work for ITN Source on the Reuters Archive as a researcher and archivist. I began making my ‘World News Vision’ improvisations early 2011.
I went into Bark Studio with Brian O’Shaughnessy in Walthamstow to record these for the fist time in March 2011 with my Microkorg XL and my Minipops drum machine. This basic set up has continued but has been enhanced with percussion and alternative electronic machines."
Jude Cowan Montague

Her first collection of poetry, about Reuters news stories from 2008 'For the Messengers', was published in 2011 and is dedicated to the talented camera operator Fadel Shanaah who was killed while filming for the agency in April 2008.
